Even though I'm not very good at this contest thing, I'd like to continue it, as it's allowing me to take stock of my knitting paraphernalia. Next post, I think I'll give away a nice skein of sock yarn. I still have to decide which.

I came to the conclusion that the sock-yarn stash had to be pared down after dragging out the whole darn thing to find some colors for a Zig and Zag Sock Yarn pram baby blanket by Skein Queen. What a stashbuster! While asking the DH his opinion, he eyed the colorful mound and asked how many pairs of socks' worth of yarn I had there. I said, 'Oh, more than 20, probably.' I haven't heard him laugh that loudly in a while. Hey, at least he was laughing, right?
